Just as it says on the tin.

Literally 'bottom taking', you take the last hiragana/katakana/syllable of the word before you, and use it as the first letter of a new word.

The only character you cannot end with is 'n' (ん), since no words begin with it.

so, for a not-very-original start;

Incidentally, do you: 旅行をします。　Or : 旅行に行きます。？ (Do a trip, or Go on a trip)

In english, the latter sounds better, but I'm pretty sure its the first one, since the japanese looks nicer, I'm not sure though.

If you are looking for "To travel" it would be 旅行する. If you are looking for something like "To go on a trip", that would probably be the same, though I am not 100% sure.
