This thread is dedicated to discussing the current issues of the main Loli eromanga anthologies, namely
Comic LO and, to a lesser degree,
Comic RiN.
As I write these lines, the current issues of these magazines are:
- Comic LO 66 (
hxxp://pant.su/index.php/2009/08/comic-lo-vol66/)
- Comic RiN 56 (

Personal comments:Comic LO: As usual, nice cover by Takamichi. Higashiyama Show's art [p. 11] is still outstanding, and it only gets better in each issue (also, lol @ "Gooogle" and "I'm Feeling Lolita" --- ROFL @ ending). SH@RP's work [p. 49] was even uglier than usual, avoid at any cost. The one-shot from Asaki Takayuki [p. 71] (the one who drew
Low-Leg) is among his good works; although not one his best imo. A fairly new name, Ookamiuo [p. 93] revealed to be more promising than he appeared to be in the last issues. Isawa Nohri is still on the right track to be added to my list of favourite artists, with this latest work [p. 113], which was simply great. Ueda Yuu's colour pages [p. 143] were likely my favourite of this issue. I didn't expect that much from an artist whose art is invariably good yet not awesome, but he managed to surpass everything he did before (sukumizu + tan lines ftw!). Why must Takao Saeki's stories [p. 239] always be so sad and rapey? ;_; Hikoza Hanahama's first appearance in LO [p. 259] made a good impression on me. This issue was pretty nice, despite the fact that it did lack Onizuka Naoshi's art...
Comic RiN: Quite refreshing to see the art of Mizui Kaou (of
Slow Step's fame) [p. 31] once again. He had been absent from the magazine for a while now. Yoshiharu Makita's art [p. 47] is still as appealing as ever, and the girl in this new story was especially cute... Nekogen, with this more recent work [p. 87]], is promising as ever, as he seems to have significantly improved his art style over time. Tamachi Yuki's work [p. 227] is on par with what I'd expect of him: nothing outstanding, yet good. Zummy's art [p. 303] wasn't as good as it usually is. Avoid the pages from 349 onwards. As it is usually the case with Comic RiN, all the not-loli-at-all stuff is put at the end.
